Did everyone catch the first episode of the newest Gundam series yesterday? Iron-blooded Orhpans kicked off its Sunday slot and Bandai was ready with the release of the 1/144 HG Gundam Barbatos. While many may have not yet seen the first episode of the anime, allow us here at hobbylink.tv to show you what the High Grade kit is all about!
It’s a thin box and when you open it up you’ll see there is space to spare.
Most often the A runner in a Bandai model kit will be the runner with several colours molded together onto it. The Barbatos’ A runner is all frame. in fact, there is an A1 and A2 runner for the frame colored parts.
All the white parts are found on the B runner.
C, D, and E runners give you the color. The newer PC runner is used in the Barbatos kit.
Looks like any extra color will be added by you in the form of foil stickers.
Bandai has resized their manuals for this series. Barbatos’ manual is slightly under A5 size.
People who pick up their Barbatos from the first release assortment will get two game cards for use on the Gundam Tryage Arcade Game.
The build doesn’t take long and before you know this Iron-Blooded Orphan will have found a good home in your Gunpla collection.

are they releasing the mace weapon for the NG 1/100 version in some add-on kit or magazine? seems like the overall proportion between the 1/144 and 1/100 is quite different and i feel i prefer the 1/144 better… it needs better(or more) hands though T_T
