Cyan Dog is a character from Medarot/Medabots series of games and anime.  It looks quite interesting, so let’s see what’s inside the box!

The cute factor is definitely on display with the cover.

The box is the same size as a typical High Grade or Real Grade.

Front and back views of the kit, with some of the gimmicks show.  It includes a variety of visors, along with some fun looking weapon options.

The colors of the plates will really jump out at you when you open the box.

Though the lack of colors on the cover of the manual won’t excite you very much.

The back however lays out all the colors nicely for the paint guide.

2 identical D plates.

A plate of clear effect parts looks like it’s going to add some fun options.

This is pretty interesting: famous lines from the game printed on cardboard to display together with the model.

Finally, colored clear parts and some prepainted ones come sealed in plastic bags. There are also 2 springs that seems to be used in some of the gimmicks.

From this unbox, this kit reminds me of the LBX series, from the setting, to style and looks.  This makes me curious, as Bandai was clever and made a nice series that combines ease of build with high mobility, so I’m curious to see how this will compare.  One thing I think you can say for sure is that it should look good thanks to the clear effect and prepainted parts, not to mention the bonus of the cardboard displays.  Stick around to see it all put together, and thanks for checking this out!
