20161014_134458

Today, HobbyLink Japan headed to Tokyo for the Cafereo Character Convention 2016 Autumn, to check out the latest figure, sci-fi, and anime goodie releases from popular manufacturers! Our full photo coverage follows below — be warned, it’s image-heavy!

Kotobukiya
Kotobukiya surprised us with a reveal of a brand-new prototype of Sanzo from Saiyuki Reload Blast! We also got a look at Red from Pokemon, Madoka, Frame Arms Girls, the ladies of Evangelion, Star Wars dishes, and more.

Revolve
The big ticket item at Revolve’s booth was the announcement of a new figure from Natsume’s Book of Friends!

Square Enix
Of course, Square Enix brought its Final Fantasy game to the table, including the boys from FFXV, brand-new Trading Arts Minis, Disney miniature posters, and our favorite: Moogle slippers!

Medicom
Always a treat at trade shows for its booth packed with classics and new releases alike, Medicom showcased its figures from Suicide Squad alongside other superheroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Spiderman, and Iron Man! We also got a look at favorites from Pokemon, Star Wars, Detective Conan, Peanuts, Ultraman, Doraemon, Berserk — and many more.

Arcadia
Our dose of mecha came from Arcadia’s booth, with their displays of Macross and Mazin Kaiser!

Wave
Wave also brought out the sci-fi from VOTOMS and Ma.K, along with a couple of its scale arcade cabinet kits, and plenty of beautiful figures — from Fate stay/night, Eromanga Sensei, THE IDOLM@ASTER, and Ars Nova, to name a few.

Pit-Road
We can always rely on Pit-Road to bring the heavy machinery with Girls und Panzer goodies, but we were also treated to some delightfully bizarre GeGeGe no Kitaro items!

Capcom
The Monster Hunter goods at Capcom’s booth ranged from intensely realistic, ferocious beasts, to cute, cuddly little creatures.

Good Smile Company
Good Smile’s centerpieces this time were the King of Prism, King of Fighters, and Sword Art Online Nendoroids, but we were also treated to some cameos by Osomatsusan, Tsukiuta, and Idolish Seven.

Bellfine
The main scoop from Bellfine was the reveal of a new Symphogear figure prototype and announcements for two Show By Rock girls. Miss Monochrome and KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World also made figure appearances.

Aquamarine
THE IDOLM@STER girls were in the spotlight at Aquamarine’s corner!

Platz
Platz brought some fun Girls und Panzer items to show off, as well as a whimsical Bonsai model kit that we fell in love with.

Union Creative
MechatroWeGo, King of Prism, All Out!!, Nyanboard, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Idolish graced the Union Creative booth.

Surprise Next
Ultra Monster Girls were the big thing at Surprise Next’s table, but the Evangelion x Godzilla goods also impressed!

Nihon Takujo Kaihatsu
Geocraper cityscapes were also on display at the event, which included new airport series and Evangelion structures!

SK Japan
This booth was a whole lot of cute with its Kirby and Pokemon goods that are sure to be a hit!

Re-ment
Re-ment featured miniatures from popular characters series, including Gudetama, Rilakkuma, Pose Skeleton, and Pokemon.

ensky
Bungo Stray Dogs and Ensemble Stars were the highlights from ensky’s lines of cute collectible and trading items.

Showa Note
Creative, colorful stationary from Cardcaptor Sakura, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and The Rose of Versailles greeted us at the Showa Note table.

Seasonal Plants
Unique umbrellas, pouches, and tapestries decorated the Seasonal Plants table!

ZeroGAct
ZeroGAct made good use of its small table space with Detective Conan pillows and a whole bunch of Is the Order a Rabbit? collectibles!

Twinkle
We really love the classical look of Twinkle’s Pokemon goods, and the chic Osomatsusan designs!

Groove Garage
Cuddly pillows, cute shirts, and Godzilla gear abound at Groove Garage!

Realize
Yuri on Ice is gaining popularity, so it was no wonder it was right there with Osomatsusan goods at Realize’s booth!

Gray Perka Service
Some of the cutest Putitto glass decorating characters around — and Kirby goods! — were being shown at this booth.

Canaria
Canaria brought even more Yuri on Ice, and practical pouches, phone covers, and wallets we can really get behind.

Tsukuri
Creative cups and miniatures were the standouts at Tsukuri’s booth.

CARAVAN
Last but not least, Caravan brought items from Godzilla, Attack on Titan, Racing Miku, and DAYS in great designs!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.
