Congrats on the completion of your LXA, Scott. The time and effort you put into it definitely shine through (pardon the pun). It was well worth the wait. Thanks for demonstrating some techniques for buffing up the body of the car. I never would have thought to cut a cotton swab in half and using it with a power tool, but now it seems so obvious. Just wondering if, when using the buffing compounds, one has to be careful around clear parts to avoid scratching them? Anyway, I thought you did a great job and I found many useful tips included with your videos during the series. Between Brian’s tank and Hulk series, and Syd and Ryan’s Gunpla series, and your LXA series, I’ve now got the itch again to get back into model building. Hope to start with the 1/35 MG Patlabor kits Bandai is re-releasing next month. I’ve also got a 1/35 Pz. Kpfw. III Ausf. E tank that is mostly built and painted from back in 1998, but I haven’t figured out a way to glue the multi-link tracks together yet in such a way as to look like they have a natural sag to them. The joys of kit building. 🙂

There’s always the cheaper plastic Tamiya tweezers for those magnets 😉

Dear Scott, I love watching your shows, so as the Gunpla TV. I have a question regarding model polishing. I just bought the Tamaya Compound Finish to polish my MG Sinanju after spraying Metallic Red color, before I do the polishing, do I need to first apply the Tamaya Compound Fine? And, after applying the Polishing Compound, should I still need to spray the Mr. Hobby Gloss coating?
I look forward of your reply, and thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Noel
