Don’t use flat coat on a chrome kit, there aren’t many top coats that work well with a metalized kit either, I have heard mention of an alclad top coat, but I don’t know if that works on kits that have been painted with a high gloss chrome paint, or plated kits as well?
I’ll have to experiment with the runner remains with that alclad top coat, thanks for the heads-up! Cheers. I just finished the MG Infinite Justice and it turned out AMAZING and I placed majority of the decals on it. Now Im debating if I want to go further with that one

Okay so the Alclad top coat is ALC-600 AQUA GLOSS, but I have no idea how it behaves on a metalized coated plastic.
Thanks for the heads-up!
