I just finished building my RG Strike Freedom yesterday and I reckon that you could paint the frame gold BUT you should limit it to only the parts you can see. There are so many tiny tight joints that would snap with too much resistance so try keep it to just external parts. It may help I’d you sanded down that parts that you paint so that you don’t thicken the piece too much.
I haven’t done this myself so I can’t really help too much but hopefully you can find a solution.
Happy building 🙂
Are u airbrushing. There’s a paint for airbrush called aclad. You do a coat of black gloss then gold chrome look it up. I bought the paint but haven’t try yet. They r a bit expensive though

I used Tamiya TS21. Good enough for me. Check below or my profile for how it looks. Good luck finding the perfect paint. 🙂
It’ll be tough to get it to look like the dragoons. Yeah, and you want to be careful not laying it on too thick for smaller kits.
