In this episode we look into the Gundams that have no home. Well, those that don’t belong to any specific grade and have become known as No-Grades. Despite not belonging to one of the major product lines the No Grade group of kits has some surprises for builders. Ryan starts on his huge Highend Master Model EZ-015 Iron Kong.
Also, we are proud to offer a sweet deal on the HG AGE-1 Normal and Razor parts set. Click here for details.

The 1/100 Astray Red Frame has articulation compatible with MG Strike Gundam, in some areas even better then the MG counterpart (the wrists for example can be bend on an angle on the astray were in the strike can’t) http://www.dalong.net/review/seed/s10/s10_c.htm

Hey Syd and Ryan, with the MG line being loved so much by UC kits these days, (i.e. Sinanju OVA, Sinanju Stein, Jesta, ReZel, etc.) when do you think Bandai will go back to shifting their focus on other lines such as 00, Wing, and X? And if they do, what suit would be the first to get the MG treatment?
(I’m starting to doubt the possibility of a MG Double X coming out within the next 2 years T_T)
Anyways, love the show and thank you for devoting your own time just to inform us fans!
Charlie
Wait, aren’t HGUC kits just HG quality kits for ‘Universal Century’ (Original timeline) mecha?
ClayCannonII
Just a fyi, the mobile armor mode of the wing gundam is called Bird Mode. Also are the HG wing kits the only 1/100 scale hgs, and wouod they be more like no grade 1/100 than HG?
SavviMaple
@Charlie,
I believe so. There’s HGUC and HG lines. HG being more of different shows like AGE, SEED, 00. HGUC strictly on Universal Century. Bring out the “No-Grade” from UC into HG I suppose.
Kyle
My favorite NG is by far the Avalanche Exia.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention that the “NG” and “No Grade” designations were created by the English speaking community to help buyers differentiate between the 1/144 and 1/144 HG kits for Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. Bandai doesn’t actually refer to any of these as “No Grade”, they just go straight to saying the scale.

Hey Sid and Ryan, just asking, on your shopping checkout page there is a shipping option called “Private Warehouse”. What is that exactly?
Thanks for the awesome show! 🙂

Hi Syd and Ryan. I assume the SD line will be next on episode 103 of Gunpla TV? By the way, I have a question for Syd. May I know your favourite NG kit from your personal Gunpla collection?
Woodfish
Bandai should re-release an NG Turn X… Buying it for $100+ is a NO GO thing. And since the price is that high it’s probably popular enoug. An HG kit would be even better. Thank you Bandai for reading my comment! 🙂
Woodfish
@ AL-X1205 a “Private” Warehouse” lets you buy certain kits you like (or whatever else you like actually) and store it at their warehouse labeled “AL-X1205’s kit, do not touch!”. More or less that would be the deal. You’ll pay the price for the kit when you buy it and pay shipping costs when you decide you’d like it shipped. Every thing you buy can be stored up to 60 days. When you ding you 60th day they ship it to you anyway, charging your card, paypal or whatever. So, to recap, you can buy stuff, without imediate shipping costs, let them hold it for you for up to 60 days and when you decide to do so, group your stuff the way you like it and have it delivered to your place.
I hope that covers it. Why I’ve answered you? because I use that feature of HLJ for some time now and find it exceedingly useful, due to customs regulations/slashing shipping costs.
With respect,

this doesn’t really have to do with gundam persay but i was curious… whats the like scale difference in a 1/72 and 1/100 zoid? i was looking on hlj and saw the same zoid, but different scale i just wanted to know how much of a difference is the size difference and parts difference.
