The beginning of May is a time for Japanese people, and foreigners residing there, to relax and enjoy the warm spring weather with a week of national holidays. But fear not, we have produced a short episode of Gunpla TV so everyone out there has something to enjoy until we get back to work and back in front of the camera. In this episode we’ll take a closer look at what’s inside the new Real Grade kit, the Aile Strike, and also the Thousand Sunny ship kit from One Piece. Have a great week, everyone.
In this episode:
– 1/144 RG GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam
– One Piece Thousand Sunny

Thankyou for making a episode on your holidays! I hope you all have a nice time off 🙂
One Piece:
Runners left on the masts is probably for labelling purposes. But the base doesn’t. Strange indeed.
Looking forward to see both the RG and Ship. 🙂

The runners and small stubs left on the sails may be to facilitate molding the part with out knock outs. Dragon takes a similar approach with its armor kits, lots of little stubs n nubs to cut off pieces where the runners are ejected from the mold. While you have to cut and sand these, its easier than filling and sanding knock out marks on the parts themselves.
