The vignette shows a Destroid Tomahawk before or after a mission.
I used Eduard modern Czech airforce figures for the crew with minor conversion and variuos bits to represent the base. The base itself started as a foamcore box on which I glued plasticard plates for the panels.
The model was painted with Tamiya’s acrylic paints on a dark gray base coat. White is flat white, and the light blue was mixed from white and blue. The details were painted with acrylics as well.
After it was dry, the model was pin washed with burnt umber oil color, and some raw umber oil color streaks.
It was a fun model to build, excellent quality.
