Just snapped this sniper from Frame Arms, the Kagutsuchi Otsu. Definitely a step up from the last Frame Arms model I built, but things definitely need gluing. Took some work to get it in this pose. But that gun, oh that gun though.

Not sure if I’m completely done with this kit or not, but pretty happy with what I’ve got done so far anyway. This is on old HG Serpent Custom from 1998. Here I’ve completely…
That was a serious Battle for sure. You definatly have to do something with the scars. If metal cooles down after beeing red glowing hot, it becomes some kind of a darker blueish grey. I would go for that and maybe keep some of the edges dark red glowing.
Check some lasercuttet industrial metalparts. Outside where the temp wasnt hot enough do melt the metal, it will change the color from the grey directly at the cutting edge to a yellowish brown a bit further away. Hehe depends on how much effort you want to put in it.
So this isn’t strictly a missing piece, but then again it is … I’m wondering if anyone has bought the new 1/100 Barbatos sixth form and doesn’t want the mace, because my original 1/100 Barbatos is sorely in need of one. If anyone is interested in parting with their’s, let me know!
I honestly hope that they keep to bullets and melee weapons. In recent series like 00, once everyone got beam weaponry, mainly rifles, the combat took a bit of a dip in excitement.
There’s something really brutal about the combat in IBO that I love.
Got to say, I am loving this series. The plot and what the story does to the characters has really got me engaged in them, the battle scenes are awesome and the finale kicked ass! When does it come back on for season two again?
I wasn’t sure what to write, so my wife said I should write about her and how much I love her – A love, which, by the way, only increases as she continues to accept more and more Gundam models into our tiny apartment. Yay!
Here is my finished Barbatos 1/100. Painted the inner frame, did some detail painting for the armour including some bronze and gold accents, added a Tekkadan symbol on the backpack (hand painted, not great but not bad), clear coated and then and lined/weathered a bit.

Finished painting the inner frame of my 1/100 barbatos. First time I’ve done an inner frame paint job and it was a lot of fun, lots of details to bring out on this kit. Still not sure how I wanted to do the armour pieces though.
