Death Saurer P ….aka “Pinky Death Saurer”
Won Gold at the 2014 IPMS Nationals and appeared in the subsequent IPMS magazine. Note, the lens flare is REAL (no…
My 1/32 Volks/ Zoukei-Mura He 219 A-0 Cutaway. It was supposed to be done for the 2013 contest, but got away from me when I decided to do all of the cutaway work. Half of…
I can’t find the words to describe your model. It think awesomely, beautifully and technical perfection sums it a bit, but doesn’t do it justice!
I love it! Hopefully in the future I am able to perform such quality as you sir. Thanks for sharing this piece of art with us!
Alas, I’m out. My ridiculous need to make an already complex, even more complex has bit me (story of my life lol). So, good luck to my friends who actually managed their time well to get their entry done. Cheers and happy new year!
Argh, don’t you hate when people remove the cool old stuff like that? Luckily, the previous owners of our place mostly left everything as-is since it mostly stayed in the original family. We were overjoyed they didn’t touch the kitchen especially!
Since it’s just the two of us, we just made one of the…[Read more]
Yeah, cool stuff like that would have been great had they been able to keep it, but the laundry shoot (can you imagine what the children would do with that?) had to make way for new electrical wiring (or so we’re told).
It seemed like only yesterday that I was 30 and then suddenly I’m 40. 41 is only four months away… Ouch! lol
Ours is actually a mansion with hidden servant stairs and everything. I just don’t usually call it that because it sounds pretentious. lol But yeah, for two people with no kids, this place is more than big enough for us (considering…[Read more]
I’m 42 so you’re just a youngster! Our place used to have the servant stairs, but has been so heavily renovated by previous owners so we don’t have that or the laundry shoot any more. I did get to add on a custom extension which houses the craft room though. It’s really nice to have a permanent space to work in.

This is NOT my entire collection– it’s just what I had in my work room as of March 2012 (I still have my first Gunpla, the 1/100 RX-78 I built in 1981– yeah, I’m old). All of the assembled stuff is in display cases throughout the house. A bunch of other unassembled stuff is stored in closets and other nooks. Owning a large Victorian house (built…[Read more]

Working on the ventral machine gun tray on the He 219. The solid gun sleeves are cut out and replaced with hollow brass items.
Since this is a cutaway build, it occurred to me that I should make one of the gun sleeves a cutaway to show the machine gun inside. This means getting two aluminum tubes (approx. 1.8mm and 2mm dia.) and cutting them…[Read more]
Here’s what’s been going on with my He 219. I intend on showing plenty of cutaway stuff and the fact that it’s a twin engine plane, lends itself well to this.
So, one of the DB 603 engines has been hacked apart (parts in red show portions that were removed) to display the inner workings. The other pic shows a standard engine next to the…[Read more]
