Just spent my whole Sunday doing this Zaku that I got from Gunpla Expo Singapore. Not entirely finished though.
Almost wanted to pull my hair off doing the many beads that Zakus are famous for.
I didn’t mean it in an offensive way. I heard the vents on the chest have slight variations.
My Titans comes with additional variation of the vents for the chest and legs. Those yellow pieces. Not sure if it is the same for AEUG because I don’t own it. Heard from Syd in Gunpla TV that the additional set is only for TItans.
The most significant difference is the colour. AEUG is white. TItans is dark blue.
The rest of the things are just minor difference which is hardly noticeable unless you are a hardcore gundam fan.

Yea, my mistake… that was for an RG Zaku II I got from another site. It was on sale. Yea, I checked my past records… Average RGs abt $32-33. But yea, I understand how you feel… sometimes I’m at Hobby Pt and I’m dying to get something but have to endure. I gather you bought it from HAG/HAW?
Wow. Very detailed! I was thinking the same.
Anyway… I am psychologically unstable to attempt any panel wash. For now, I will stick with my panel line marker, cotton bud, toothpick and eraser. They are much safer. :p
Understandable, after having a model destroyed by a wash!
But when you’re ready to try again, get a cheap kit to experiment on, and let me know if you have any questions.
I can see why you wouldn’t want to try it here then. 🙂
Here’s the thing: assembled kit parts are under stress. Snap-fit pegs lock together with tension, polycaps are held in place by tension, etc. Exposing the stressed plastic to too much of certain chemicals can weaken it slightly, enough for that tension to crack the parts.

On my first RG I used the grey sumi-ire pen that came with the basic gundam. It wasn’t too difficult. Once I started using the actual lining pens, it was a bit easier on RG’s. I’ve had about a 50/50 success for lining on and off the runner. Sometimes you just gotta judge what is best for each piece.
Looks good. I’ve got one of those from SDCC sitting in a closet waiting to be built.
one of my wishlist awesome….
