I’ve built the the HD one with the cage and i think it was well worth it especially because of the cage. the HD colors i think are just a bonus. but it’s really up to you. Yeah and another thing, there’s another unicorn kit, the full armor with green pyscho. This kit has a ton of weapons and i mean a it when i say a TON.
for the most common tools you need, side cutters ( preferablly for plastic, this tool is the most used tool ) you could find a bunch of them at HLJ.com. If you are really serious in the hobby getting the best side cutters is a must (God Hand, a bit pricey but is IMO the best side cutters for plastic models ) files, which you can also find in…[Read more]
also sandpaper, you’ll want some high grit sandpaper to do the final smoothing on the parts after filing.
You also mention customizing so I’m guessing you’ll likely need some plastic cement and plaplast(sheets of plastic, Syd demonstrated it’s use a few episodes ago but I don’t remember the episode number)
Bootleg brand, there are other brands as well which are not related to Bandai like TT-Hongli and Dragon Momoku all of them are third party brands which imitate the kits that bandai have.
hey bro, i think you should get the 3.0, Ive just finished mine a couple of days ago and it looks awesome, it’s not much different from the 2.0 with some parts just being white and all. Or if you cant really decide watch syd and ryan’s episode of the RX78-2. Hope this helps bro
thanks for the reply, the reason I like the oyw version is mainly the yellow vents on the chest how they’re popped out…I don’t think Syd compared the 3.0 to the oyw version…
yeah, i totally agree with you bro, i think it’s not an excuse. For example the MG O was huge but still they were able to release it in MG for a much higher price than a normal MG kit would be. Well i hope we all see one in the future tho.
Thats true, it would be awesome to see the Kshatriya in MG form but the HG The-O was 2400 whereas the HG Kshatriya is 4500 yen so the MG would be around the price of a PG. But hope to see one some day
Hey Syd and Ryan, I would just like to ask if there is any news about an MG Kshatriya in the making? Because I’ve already seen the HG version and its awesome but an Mg version would would be twice or trice as nice. Thanks for the reply. And more gunpla’s to come!
A lot of people would love a nice MG 1/100 Kshatryia. There’s a good range of 3rd party kits to meet the demand because, AFAIK, Bandai has said it’s too hard for them to do a 1/100. A 1/100 is no bigger than 1/60 PG Strike Freedom on your shelf, so that’s not an excuse, and it shouldn’t be any more expensive than a PG either, so if PG will sell…[Read more]

Hi there, the thing is I used Tamiya XF-2 flat white witch is very course in texture so the varnish is needed to smooth it out. If I panel line before paint it will lose its sharpness once the paint has been applied, plus if I line before glossing the ink will be impossible to remove from the matt paint if I make a mistake.
Thank you so much for…[Read more]
Personally as a fan and a gunpla builder, i think the RX78-2 3.0 is really a awesome kit. Specially with the all the details that it comes with. I think that Bandai has really stepped it up in terms of the quality and the materials they are using right now, which they did’nt have 10, 15 years ago. IMO the RX78-2 3.0 is a must have kit for any…[Read more]
I’ve seen it as well, tons of weaponary and patients is needed for building all those weapons. Its a huge kit!
