I can’t wait for the Rg 00-Raiser. I’ve done mostly HG, an RG Mk-II and Just finished an RG Exia while I was watching this episode. Any guesses as to what the next RG might be? Since they’re still sticking with lead mobile suits, a different series might be up next.
Hey Syd and Ryan, I love this show, it was so great to get back into gunpla seriously after building and playing with them as toys as a kid when Wing was on in America, and Gunpla TV and G Build Fighters got me […]
I have to say, Gundam Build fighters got me inspired to take gunpla, which I had gotten back into just before watching the show, to another level. More than that, I am also interested to see what people do with […]
Getting back into Gundam and Gunpla around the beginning of the year has been a pretty great experience. I found GunplaTV and watched all the way through, caught up around the mid 130’s. Great show and I’ve […]
I created this group to spread help about shipping, and go figure I had a bit of an ulterior motive. I’m ready to put an order in, but I have some questions myself.
1. Ordering in other countries: Will my paypal automatically translate my currency into Yen when I order?
2. PO Boxes?: I’ve had good luck and bad luck with getting things to my PO…[Read more]
PayPal has always converted yen into the Aussie dollar for me. Whether I’m getting a good conversion or it’s paypals own interpretation of the current value, is something I’m not sure about.
As for PO Boxes I cannot help you.
Thanks, I checked out Gentei and GG Infinite and found a couple good deals on the Rebawoo, I’m thinking that and a couple HGUC MP Bawoos from HLJ to make up a little squadron/strike force to start with, start with trying out some panel lining and handpainting, should be a nice re-start for me and I’m looking forward to it.
Thanks very much, I’ll take a look at the shipping costs and decide where to get myself started. I won’t be painting or recoloring unless it’s by hand since I don’t have a place to spray anything, but I’m definitely going to start assembling properly, panel lining, and maybe some damage effects (starting on cheaper kits until I know what I’m…[Read more]
Another company you could use ( Syd from hobby link tv uses it too) for bandai online exclusives is “gentei kits”, guy is based in japan (looks flash but it seems to be all done by one guy XD) so the prices aren’t so bad with only a slight mark up from bandai directly, but do look into the shipping prices as its an odd set up…

If you’ll pardon an almost-total noob, I’m interested in getting started but I have a couple of questions to that end. First, I’m in a fairly rural part of the USA, so no hobby or toy shops that carry Mobil Suit kits are within any kind of reasonable distance, so I’m pretty much left to buying online. Is it better to buy from say HLJ and pay the…[Read more]
Ah,welcome!
I started a mere 7 months ago, but since I’ve gone from out-of-the-box builds to owning my first airbrush set and having a dedicated modeling area. So be warned, you may go further down the rabbit hole then you expected.
I’m in Queensland, Australia, and there is no such thing as gundam in a brick and morter store. So everything comes…[Read more]

I’d just found out that FedEX will not ship to PO boxes, but the other two options given by HLJ will
