Hi there. It’s been a long time indeed. Hope you’re doing well. The Hi-Nu is looking good so far. Curious to see what you next mods will be. Good luck and happy building
This is incredible! I’m in love with the custom colour scheme…truly good job!! I was wondering if you can remember what type of blue paint it is you used? Or was it self mixed? As if you wouldn’t mind, I might like to use that blue colour on some of my builds 🙂
Hello fellow modellers, my question today is regarding displaying my models. I would like to ask where i can get a small display case for my recently completed MG Destiny Custom Build, i was thinking something around 40 cm higher around 30 m wide and about 20cm length, it doesn’t have to be that size but that’s just to put a sense of scale to it.…[Read more]
I can’t give an actual one to find but you could search second hand shops around your town. I found an old china cabinet that I use to display my 1/144 kits so you may find something.
P.P.S – i painted it completely using tamiya spray cans, and mixed my own blue and blended them together with different layers of spraying ( as it was the only way i could get the blue i wanted for the kit, and i didn’t know how else to do it with spray cans). For the armour I used tamiya brilliant blue and tamiys blue violet to make the final…[Read more]
MG Destiny Gundam Ver. OB, Custom Repaint Build in RG colour scheme. I have now finished this build completely… i am very very pleased about the outcome of this build as it is my first ever completely fully custom, fully painted build. I have repainted the whole gundam in the original colour scheme, but in the two tone RG style. I panel scribed…[Read more]

That looks really great! Excellent job! Love the colors, the extra panel lining and the detail painting. Sorry to hear (actually read.. LOL) you’vr had some issues with the build. But rest assure, I’m having tons of issues with it. Paint cracking, gloss coat frosting out, chrome turn silver…. So I didn’t got as far with it as I hoped… Seems…[Read more]
Looks pretty good I really like the extra panel lines and the gray you added to break up the color very nice job especially since its your first custom I’ve got the extreme blast destiny sitting in the box on my self waiting on me to build it ,I’m waiting on my waterslides I ordered for it and to finish my wing kit and then I going for it I’m…[Read more]
I would recommend the MG Destiny, it is a love hate kit, but i have just recently finished my own MG Destiny custom painted build and i have to say I’m very impressed with the kit, i personally thinks its great, especially if your a fan on seed & seed destiny! However you cant go wrong with the astray kits either, they look great and have a lot of…[Read more]
MG Destiny Painted Build WIP- I have now officially finished… Yesterday I finished applying all the Waterslide decals and did a final flat top coat, I used Mr Hobby Flat…
i usually hate the look of the destiny but this one is probably by far my favorite! good job. if u remember my destiny impulse gundam and that color scheme youve inspired me to strip off that paint and redo it in rg colors
A great model. Well done on painting Shin, I think it is. Been a while since I watched Seed Destiny. I could only imagine the amount of effort it took. Congratz!
Wow! That looks awesome. Great job! It sure looks better than the one I’m working on. No doubt about it. Pictures look fine. Can’t wait to see it in some poses. Thanks for sharing!
MG Destiny WIP- o have now applied all the dry transfers- they all went on really well, accept one ‘ZAFT’ decal on the wing which broke and moved slightly… I fixed it as much as I could! He’s all packed at the moment to stop dust, until I apply waterslides tomorrow!
Excellent! He looks really great! And what a good idea of using the bags to prevent dust from collecting on it. Much luck wished to you on applying the waterslides. But I’m sure you will make an awesome job of that as well
@teetee580 Thanks, i’ve seen your WIP pics… it looks like it coming along nicely. As for weathering i don’t really plan on weathering it, i want this one to be a clean build (like its just come out the factory but might of had a couple of test flights) so i have done some subtle weathering and dry brushing in places (like around vents)- so i…[Read more]
@thebanshee13, as i live in the UK paints are quite difficult to get a hold of (so i thought), so i used to get them all of off eBay, but then i found model shop called eModels who supply Tamiya and Mr Hobby paints which is brilliant and i don’t have to pay more for shipping or have to wait for weeks either. i can send you a link to them if you…[Read more]
