I’ve been looking into my first mg,it’s between the Sinanju Stein or The gundam wing…possibly heavy arms as well but I’m having a hard time deciding. I mostly care about looks and articulation when it comes to a kit. Actually the duel gundam looks pretty cool to me. Please help!
My first MG was the Heavy Arms EW. I love that kit. I think the look is great and the articulation does pretty good. Although I can’t compare it to the others as I haven’t built them
I’ve built the Heavyarms EW and the Sinanju (not stein). While I love them both, I find the EW kits are a great combo of looks and articulation. My Sinanju, while it looks kick ass, it’s huge, took a long time and doesn’t have great articulation. Hands and wrists are an issue, and shoulders don’t move too much. Not sure if the Sinanju Stein has…[Read more]
I’d wait a little bit before getting the Sinanju Stein, it’s a great kit but I think the others may be better for your first MG. The other 3 are all very good kits in terms of articulation but, my favourite is the Duel. At the end of the day the best way to choose is to get whichever you think looks the best.
sinanju steins abit complex if ur a beginner because of it being a ver ka and all. id go for a seed kit like blitz or duel theyre pretty neat in builds and alittle more simpler. wing kits i feel like theyre alittle more delicate so if u want something sturdy as ur first build go for a Gat gundam seed kit
definitely echo-ing the seed MG first suggestion, duel is pretty cool. Sinanju stein is a hell of project (as are all MG sinanju variants) and definitely best done when you have a couple MG’s under your belt IMO. Either way you can’t go wrong with the MG Duel or EW Heavyarms.
not sure what problems you are referring to. Ive built the trans-am version and didn’t notice any lack of articulation. When the large blades are mounted on the hips it does limit how far the legs pivot outwards but other than that i was able to get some rather nice action poses out of it.
He means the skirt armor not letting the legs move so much, honestly the exia is one of the best rg kits, the only problem is the skirt armor, and that it’s so small and I have huge hands lol 🙂
I found no problem with Exia’s articulation. The only thing I found difficult with the Kit where those little blue tabs (especially the ones inside the helmet). Asside that, Great RG Kit.
I’d like to see some more of the federations mobile suits it gives them a chance to work on the frame for the gundams and I’d faint over a rg kampfer, maybe even a zaku i
I think bandai should’ve made more grunt suits after the rx-78-2 and zaku ii it’d give them more time to work on maybe studying up the frame or making modifications on it
Well, they did just make the Z’Gok so we’ll probably get a mass production version of that soon.
One of the original plans Bandai showed had the GM, Gouf and RX-78 [G] as well as the Z’Gok so we may get them later along the line.
If there is a Gouf RG made i will loose my mind! Such an good looking suit. I also think there should be more grunt suits in the RG line, pairing with some of the main series suits would be nice.
I’d like to see most of the early Zeon grunt suits, especially the Dom/Rick Dom and Gelgoog. Though I can’t really see those being made over a main suit like the Gouf.

No problem for the many questions, but please look around in this group first.
It’s handled just a few posts down. To be exact, one post further down than your post over Tamiya cement….
Anyways, I recommended Dupli-Color in that post. I saw a review on YouTube on it and it looks great. If this shouldn’t be available to you, search the kind that…[Read more]
Thx so much Also id like to know if this is the order to go with using spray paint or an air brush i assume with spray paint just use masking tape for the joints?
spray paints and airbrush its the same concept glue then paint my recomendation is paint up the joints first seal it with a top coat then put the pieces on that ur going to glue with on it then u dont need to mask as much if ur planning on painting the joints
Standing up for repair, you can get the Builders Parts System Base OR/AND some Hangar from non-Bandai line.
You can always combine them.
You can also add some 1/144 soldiers from Builders Parts series too

Ello I was about to order a few HGUC kits and was just wondering if I’m using tamiya plastic cement would I paint before or after painting (parts I’m thinking to glue are mostly along the legs, ribs, arms and weapons) I’m wondering because I’m thinking of making a stop motion…
before painting because if ur thinking of getting rid of seam lines with glue u glue the parts wait for it to dry and then after u sand it down and then paint. this is because sanding it strips paint
