Hey Syd and Ryan.
I just built my first two kits, a HG Aile strike gundam and a MG AStray red frame. they are really fun to build.
I have a question, the arms and the legs of my Astray red frame keeps falling off very easily when y try to pose them, it makes posing it extremely difficult.
Do you have any tips to solve that?
Thanks
yea u need the big action base the one usually used for the mg sold separately the one given to u in the box of the astray is for the use of the big sword/bow and arrow as a support so it doesnt fall down and such but to get the astray on a stand with that adaptor u gotta use an action base http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN948215/Sup
Hello guys.
I just built my first MG, the Astray Red Frame!
Anyway, i cant find a way to mount it in a action base without the use of the huge sword/backpack it has.
The manual tells me to insert a piece under the skirt and then use that piece to mount it on the action base.
I have the piece in place, but I cant find a way to insert that in the…[Read more]

Yeah, I looked at some pictures of the EVA semi completed and it looks very simple inside compared to other PGs. Taking away the one of the features the PGs have of seeing pistons move or other similar things.
Thanks.
Definetely not going to try painting for now, specially a PG.
That one you linked looks cool, I might end with more kits than I initially planed lol
Yes it does, though, just a small one to keep it off the ground. If you’re wanting a stand for the ABF itself for aerial poses then an action base 2 would work well for this guy http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN950540/Sup .
Hello 🙂
I want to start building kits, seems like something fun.
But im not sure where to start, or better said what kit would be good.
I would like a PG, because they are big and look awesome.
I saw the hobbylink episode where they said there is a PG Eva 01(im an evangelion fan), but I think i do not want to start with that one.
I think starting with 1 or 2 HG’s would be good, mainly just so you can get used to working with plastic. After those you could probably build a PG, though it may still be a little tricky.
As for cool sworded HG gundams there’s the Astray Blue Frame 2nd L http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN981942/Gun other than that, ones I like are the Unicorn Gundam…[Read more]

There is some truth in what Nick says, but if you’re confident enough and can read a manual, I my opinion, you should be able to do a PG without a problem.
My first Gunpla was a PG… And if I can do it, so can anybody else.
If you are planning to paint the kit in any form, and don’t have any experience, I suggest practicing on a HG or even a…[Read more]

I’d say if you want to just test the waters then the SD line is a great and cheep place to start. and something like SD Quan[t] has a pretty cool sword. The reason I say this is cause they have few pieces use some polycaps and have a few stickers, so they cover all the basics and don’t cost very much but as mentioned a PG won’t have you doing…[Read more]

well those really are for HG’s and used sometimes in MG to help support larger weapons but they really aren’t meant to take a whole MG kit.
and that action base is too small for the astray or any MG kits
