No spray paint at all. I am useing the Gundam Markers to paint the parts. Its surpringly easy to do, but it takes a VERY long time to dry properly. And even then it is prone to damage. But that should be fixed when I finish it with a clear matte spray.
Took me awhile to get him standing. there was more to paint then I initially thought, but finally did it. Still some final touches to it, but first to the backback.

As promised. Here is the upper half of the Tallgeese EW version. Very fun to do the arms on this kit imo. Any tips on how to remove the nub scars on the hand though?
I am finding my self having trouble with them. or does the final coat hide these?
Looks great! There are a few ways of getting rid of nub marks. Some prefer to cut them off bit by bit with a knife, others sand them down with a course grid and work up to a finer grid.
If you get a slightly lighter shade on the plastic where the nub marks are, a clear coat will usually get rid of that. Be it a gloss or a flat coat.

awesome! Have fun building it :). Just finished the Right arm yesterday and plan on finishing the left one this evening. once both are done, I will post some pictures of it.
I do not know if the suit it self is the same as the Ootori Ver.RM, but seeing as it was almost released 10 years later, I would suspect that they have updated a few things and that Back back looks pretty awesome to me 🙂 And the costs are nearly the same as well.
Building the MG Tallgeese EW version. Decided that I did not like the beige/grey parts of the kit so decided to make them black. Not the most original I know, but this is the first kit that I am painting… well painting. Using the real touch markers to do this, which surprisingly goes pretty well.
Great job! And painting is painting IMO, no matter how you do it. The best way making a kit the way you like it. Keep up the good work! Happy building!

I will post some pics of them once they are also done. Problem is though that the top coat that I ordered is going by ship so it will take close to 2…[Read more]

you are doing the anime colour scheme?
Not sure about that. its been too long since I last saw the serie. I just did not like the beige color of those parts. So I turned them black 🙂
oh haha i do the same if i dont like the original colour, did you use gloss black spray paint?
